Anna Misiewicz

Head of the Foreign Relations Team of the Society of Authors ZAiKS . Graduated from law studies at the University of Warsaw, postgraduate studies in intellectual property law at the Institute of Intellectual Property Law at the Jagiellonian University and in new technologies law at the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Since the beginning of her career, she has specialised in various aspects of copyright law – from legislative work at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, to film production, organisation of cultural events and provision of audiovisual archives during her work at the National Audiovisual Institute. Currently, since 2016, she is responsible at ZAiKS for the analysis of EU and international law and the Association’s relations with foreign partners and umbrella organisations. She is a member of the Madrid Group of the European Association of Societies of Authors and Composers GESAC, an association of legal experts.
